There are many reasons that people select one day car insurance as a protection option when they travel.  In some cases an individual may be borrowing a friend’s car for a short, one-day trip and need insurance for that day.  In other cases it may be for a newly purchased car that is being driven home and the distance between the car lot and home is several hours away. This can be very important when the individual will only be in the country a short time and would not be able to return if there were an investigation of an accident that included the driver not being properly insured.

One day car insurance provides individuals who are making day trips the benefit of providing all of the advantages of long term insurance for a very short time.  If a car breaks down on the road or needs to be towed, the provisions of one day car insurance can include roadside assistance just like established insurance and allow the driver to be towed or assisted by technicians who will then provide them with a loaner car or a ride to their destination as part of their one day insurance coverage.
